Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck got injured on Thursday when the gunners faced Sporting Lisbon and the English international is currently at the hospital, but the North Londoners are still in the dark on how much time he will spend on the sick-bed. Most reports say that he might be ruled out for six months yet he is current contract at the Emirates Stadium will also be expiring soon.

Arsenal is also disheartened with the injury of Danny Welbeck but it is a club which needs to move on, and the Metro now claims that the gunners are ready to sign a replacement for the English international because the former Manchester United star was a back up striker for Unai Emery incase Aubameyang and Lacazette get injured or booked and even for squad rotation.

Nicolas Pepe

The report says that Arsenal is interested in Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe who has been impressive in the French Ligue One, scoring eight goals and making five assists this season. The gunners were interested in this player in the past but ended their interest after they thought of giving Danny Welbeck a new deal because the Englishman was on form in the few matches he had played in, but since things have changed, the gunners will make an offer for him in the January transfer window.

Nicolas Pepe is a great player that might fit well at Arsenal and the best part that he is just 23 years old, the gunners would use him as a back up striker in the next few years until they say goodbye to the likes of Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. Nicolas Pepe is rated at £45million and it is uncertain whether the gunners will meet this asking price.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
