Arsenal star reveals why Mesut Ozil is a good captain

Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their new boss in May this year and the new coach appointed five captains including Mesut Ozil who has spent five years at the Emirates Stadium. The other captains are; Laurent Koscielny, Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka.
There were many transfer rumours that were linking Mesut Ozil away from the Emirates Stadium because of having issues with the Arsenal boss. Unai Emery surprised everyone when he included Mesut Ozil in the starting eleven on Saturday and even gave him the captain’s arm band as they defeated Burnley 3-1.
Many Arsenal fans and football pundits usually say that Mesut Ozil isn’t a good captain because he is a soft player but his teammate, Sead Kolasinac disagrees with those that make such comments. The Arsenal left back has revealed why Mesut Ozil is a nice captain.
“Mesut’s not the sort of player who will scream at you in public just to show the people on the outside that he tries to push us on.” Sead Kolasinac told Arsenal.com.
“He’ll speak in the dressing room, he’ll go to every player individually. With his quality, he brings a lot to this team. He’s very important for us as a captain and as a player.”
Arsenal fans are always happy to see Mesut Ozil in the starting eleven because he is one of the fan favourites at the Emirates Stadium. So they will be hoping that he doesn’t leave in the January transfer window as most reports have claimed.
