Arsene Wenger spent two decades at Arsenal and he has a lot of memories at this club including the invincibles season but he finally called it quits this year in May after making some considerations. The gunners replaced him with Unai Emery who was the former coach of Paris Saint Germain and Sevilla.

The gunners are currently in the fifth position on the Premier League table, through to the UEFA Europa League, yet to play in the FA Cup and out of the Carabao Cup but it is not yet time to judge Unai Emery’s era at the Emirates Stadium since we still have about six months until the season ends.

Many gooners have for long been waiting for Arsene Wenger’s comments on the progress of Unai Emery and the Frenchman has finally opened up about Arsenal’s new boss. While speaking to beIN Sports, Arsene Wenger praised Unai Emery for doing an excellent job and also said that he brought in the right signings at the club.

“I think Emery is doing an excellent job. With the recruits he has brought in, it has brought a form of defensive stability and so I think everything is going well.” Arsene Wenger told beIN Sports.

“The team is in good hands and I always said that. A lot of people thought when I left the club that the team would need to completely rebuild – I never thought that.I am very happy that these people have been proven wrong.”

Arsene Wenger’s future is still unknown but he did say that he would start working at his new job in January 2019 so there’s just a few days to go before we receive an announcement from him.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
