Lucas Torreira comments on his goal against Tottenham Hotspur
Lucas Torreira scored his first Arsenal goal on Sunday when the gunners faced Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium.

The gunners are now in the fourth position on the Premier League table after defeating Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira received the man of the match award for his performance in the North London Derby, he this time not only controlled the midfield but also scored the fourth goal of the gunners.
Lucas Torreira arrived at the Emirates Stadium in July after having been linked with him for a long time and so he has been at the North London club for about five months but he has however become a fan favourite at Arsenal already even though he is among the new signings. The midfielder has for long craved for a goal if you have watched Arsenal’s last five matches, he has tried to get on the score sheet but failed many times but who knew that he would finally score in the North London Derby.
Lucas Torreira has commented on his goal against Tottenham Hotspur and he says that it is a reward that he has got for the hard work he has done.
“It’s my first derby for Arsenal and it’s an incredible game.During the week, the fans really showed me how important this game is and it was for us as well. Lucas Torreira told Arsenal’s official website.
“I think it was the goal that put the end to the game, if you like. It was a reward for all the hard work that I’ve been putting in since the very first moment that I joined Arsenal.”
Arsenal fans will be hoping that they see more goals from him in the future because he has shown that he is also good when offensive because that run before he scored the goal was fantastic.
