Ray Parlour gives Unai Emery advice on Mesut Ozil’s future
Mesut Ozil has been at Arsenal for five years now but he has however been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in the last few weeks.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has missed their last three matches against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Huddersfield Town because of back spasms but some transfer rumours have emerged with many claiming that the gunners could let go of the German international for just £25million.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery did not play Mesut Ozil in his preferred lineup at the beginning of the season and some reports claimed that there was even some bust up between the coach and player in training, but Emery later confirmed that these reports were absolutely false. Mesut Ozil had a close relationship with Arsene Wenger but it seems like Unai Emery is alot different from his predecessor because he doesn’t care if you are a star or not but you need to keep performing well on the pitch if you want to keep your spot in the starting eleven.
Mesut Ozil recently signed a new deal and is currently earning £350,000-a-week wages and some football pundits have urged Unai Emery to let go of him so that he can get a player who he believes could settle well into his playing style. Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has said that Mesut Ozil is still an important player and claims that they wouldn’t get an interested club that easily because the German has huge wage demands.

“I still think he is a very important player for the squad, I don’t know how you value him, because you have got to look at his wages, he is on a reported £350,000 a week.” Ray Parlour told talkSPORT
“Who is going to pay that money? I think you are going to find it really tough for someone to pay that sort of money in wages.”
Some Arsenal fans believe that there could be another reason why Mesut Ozil has missed many matches in the last few weeks but him having back problems can could easily be seen on Saturday as he attended the Huddersfield Town match.
