Unai Emery hints at doing something which Arsenal fans won’t like
Arsenal will today be welcomed at the Falmers stadium by Brighton & Hove Albion and it will be a must win match for the gunners if they want to get back to the Premier League top four before the year ends. Even though Unai Emery is on pressure to win this game but he will also be worried about their upcoming encounter against Liverpool.
Arsenal’s unbeaten run ended in this month because of suspensions and injuries and Unai Emery will be hoping that all his best players are available on the weekend when they make a trip to the Anfield Stadium. Arsenal’s best midfielder this season is Lucas Torreira and the Uruguayan international currently has four domestic yellow cards, so if he gets booked in today’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion , then he will miss the Liverpool game.
Arsenal fans are worried that Lucas Torreira missing the Liverpool game would see them get beaten because he impressed the last time these two clubs met. Arsenal fans have urged Unai Emery to rest Lucas Torreira in today’s game so that he can take part in the match against Liverpool.
Unai Emery has however hint at starting Lucas Torreira and has also claimed that he can’t tell the midfielder to play cautiously or be thinking about missing their next game.
“I don’t know if Torreira can even play cautiously but I don’t want him to think about the possibility of a suspension against Liverpool for one yellow card.” Unai Emery told Metro UK.
“l don’t want him to think about that.”
