Arsenal will on Wednesday make a trip to the Falmer Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion. It will be an important match for Arsenal because they will be hoping to win this game so that they can face Liverpool on the weekend with confidence, Unai Emery will be hoping for a win.

November is usually a month where Arsenal gets problems but it seems like December has been pretty dark for them because they have lost many players to injuries, which have resulted into their unbeaten run ending and getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup.

Arsenal has today confirmed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be out until February because of a fractured metatarsal. The Armenian international got injured in Arsenal’s match against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday last week, the club released the following statement on their official website.

“Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Right foot). Fractured metatarsal. Expected to return to full training in six weeks.”

It is bad news for Arsenal as a club and for Unai Emery because he will now be on pressure to sign new players in January because his stars are getting injured in this month. Henrikh Mkhitaryan will probably even miss the first leg of the UEFA Europa League.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been outstanding this season even though he has been criticized by some Arsenal fans this season, he has played 14 matches, scored four goals and made one assist in the Premier League. Unai Emery will probably give some chances to some youngsters since Mkhitaryan will be out for a long time.
