Unai Emery receives injury boost ahead of Southampton match
Arsenal will on Sunday be welcomed at the St. Mary’s Stadium by Southampton who will try everything possible to stop the gunners.
Arsenal will face Southampton tomorrow as they hope to continue their unbeaten run and also stay close to the Premier League top four. The match will be played at the St. Mary’s Stadium and the gunners have only lost once when playing away this season, this was their 3-2 loss to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery will come into this match with his best squad because a win is very important to them because this season’s Premier League seems to be tight especially in the race for a top four finish. Arsenal boss Unai Emery has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey might return for their match against Southampton, he said this when talking to the press earlier this week.
He was asked whether Ramsey would play against Southampton and he replied; “We think yes, The doctors say to me they think Friday or Saturday he can train and he will OK for Sunday.”
Aaron Ramsey got injured in Arsenal’s match against Manchester United a week ago and he has missed the matches against Huddersfield Town and Qarabag but it seems it was a minor setback as he is now ready to feature on Sunday according to Unai Emery.
Aaron Ramsey was selected in the starting eleven that played against Manchester United and this was sign that Unai Emery wanted to include him in his first eleven again but him getting injured will probably see him get benched again when the gunners face Southampton.
