PICTURES: Ozil, Bellerin and rest of Arsenal squad trained ahead of West Ham game
Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin have returned to the Arsenal squad and they both took part in the training sessions done on Friday.
Arsenal players were on Friday called to the London Colney for a training session ahead of their match against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday. Some top names like Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin returned to the Arsenal squad after having been on the sidelines for some weeks.
The gunners will be hoping to get a win at the London Stadium and Unai Emery would also be happy to get two wins out of two games in this London Derby. The Arsenal players were working hard to get in shape ahead of the West Ham United match and you can even see below how Unai Emery has invited a few youngsters to be part of the first team.
Hector Bellerin will certainly get back his position in the starting eleven because the gunners have struggled without him and Stephan Lichtsteiner hasn’t been a great back up because he is one of the reasons why the gunners have conceced nine goals in Arsenal’s matches against Fulham, Liverpool and Southampton.
Mesut Ozil is however in a tough situation because he got injured when he got substituted at halftime in the previous game so it’s uncertain whether Unai Emery will include the German international into the starting eleven that faces West Ham United on Saturday.
All of the Arsenal players trained on Friday except Danny Welbeck, Henrikh Mkhitaryan & Rob Holding who are sidelined for a long time after picking up horrific injuries last year.
