Arsenal currently has a large squad but the constant injuries have shown the need for Unai Emery to sign more players if he wants a top four finish and also challenging teams for the Premier League trophy next season. The gunners won’t be giving Unai Emery money in this transfer window because they prefer signing players in the summer.

Arsenal always has a tight budget and because of that, the coach is sometimes forced to get players that are free agents and it seems Unai Emery might get another one for free in the summer as the Mirror has reported saying that the North Londoners are among the clubs likely to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Andreas Pereira is in his final year at the Old Trafford and it’s reported that they are few chances of the Manchester club giving him a new contract because he hasn’t been important to them this season. Pereira is just 23-years-old and Arsenal usually likes signing young players and Unai Emery wouldn’t mind getting him since the gunners are likely to axe Henrikh Mkhitaryan away from the Emirates Stadium in the Summer transfer window.

Andreas Pereira has found chances limited at Manchester United because he has managed to make only six Premier League appearances this season. The gunners will however face competition from Valencia who are also interested in the young attacking midfielder. So Unai Emery will just need to say the word in the summer if Manchester United haven’t given Andreas Pereira a new deal by then.

Andreas Pereira is currently allowed to have pre-contract negotiations with any club of his choice since he is yet to sign a new deal with Manchester United.
