Arsenal was last night humiliated by Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium because of the sluggish defending from the North Londoners. Unai Emery was hoping that his team could be consistent after beating Chelsea but injuries ruined his game plan, he has confirmed that Laurent Koscielny went to the hospital while Sokratis Papastathopoulos’s injury isn’t very serious.

Arsenal made only three changes to the starting eleven that faced Chelsea and they looked great in the first minutes of the game but they later lost Sokratis Papastathopoulos who got injured and this started their downfall as the Greek international was replaced by Shkodran Mustafi who has been inconsistent in the last few weeks. The gunners later saw their captain Laurent Koscielny get injured in the second half after Lukaku accidentally hit him on his cheek.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery then later faced the media and revealed some good and bad news, he confirmed that Laurent Koscielny has been sent to the hospital because it looks like he has a broken jaw ( bad news ) and also said that Sokratis’ wasn’t that big.

“I think they weren’t big injuries for Sokratis [his ankle].” Emery told Arsenal.com.

“Maybe Laurent Koscielny is going to hospital to [analyse] what injury he has. Maybe he’s broken [his cheek or jaw] but I hope not.”

So it’s great news that Sokratis’ injury won’t be long-term because the Greek international has been outstanding for the gunners this season and is a great leader.
