Arsenal is yet to sign any player in this January transfer window but the fans are optimistic that the club will bring in some new faces before it closes. Unai Emery confirmed last week that the club will only sign players on loan deals because of un confirmed reasons.

Most people believed that the gunners would sign defenders in the first few days of the transfer window but it seems like Arsenal boss Unai Emery will be looking to bring in players that  understand his system and it is currently reported that the North Londoners are interested in signing Denis Suarez who will be deployed as a winger when he comes to the Emirates Stadium.

The gunners have this season been struck with injuries that have ruled out some of their best players and Unai Emery confirmed that these injury set backs will affect their transfer plans as he says that Arsenal will be hoping to sign replacements for Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin because they have a long-term injuries.

“The club continues to work on that. It’s difficult, you know, but I am working with our players and I think we need – and we can – sign some players to help after our injuries like Rob Holding, like Welbeck, like Hector Bellerin.” Unai Emery told Arsenal’s official website.

“But we can play with the players we have now and the same message is to you and every supporter, we only want to sign one or two players who can really help us with good performances. The club is working. They know our intentions, our possibilities for signing players that can help us, but they work and also with communication to us.”

The gunners will be hoping that the club doesn’t disappoint them and don’t sign new players yet the team obviously needs some upgrade in some areas especially in the defence since they have lost Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding ( centre back and a right back ).

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
