Unai Emery speaks out on if he will take FA Cup seriously

Arsenal has not won the Premier League trophy since 2004 and can only boast of winning the FA Cup two times during the last decade but they were last season embarrassed by Nottingham Forest in the third round of the competition, they lost 4-2 hence getting knocked out from the cup.
Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery will not be hoping to face the same fate on Saturday when the gunners make a trip to Bloomfield Road Stadium to face Blackpool who got drawed with the gunners in the Emirates FA Cup third round. Arsenal has told Unai Emery that their main target this season is to get back to the UEFA Champions League and the fans are afraid that this could see the coach not mind about competitions like FA Cup yet they also hope to win this competition.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery did say in the past that he wanted to focus on all four competitions but he’s now out of the Carabao Cup but he has today said the same thing in his pre-match press conference ahead of their match against Blackpool on the weekend. He has said that he hopes to win it since because he understands how it’s important for the club.
“I know it’s very important for every English team. It’s a different competition, with a chance for a lot of teams.” Unai Emery told Mirror.
“The first idea when I arrived here was to play for all the titles. Arsenal is in the history the best team in this competition, played 20 finals, won 13 times.”
“This respect for our supporters and the competition I took quickly.
I want to do something important and this is a big opportunity for us.”
