Arsenal’s match vs Bate Borisov has surprisingly turned out to be a much awaited match for the Arsenal fans yet they thought that they could easily get past the Belarusian side. Arsenal’s coach Unai Emery was last week criticised for a choosing a poor lineup but he will this time be hoping to select their best eleven because it’s an important game that they must win.

Arsenal’s main right back Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for six to nine months because of an injury he sustained in their game against Chelsea and Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been covering for the Spanish international because Unai Emery trusts the youngster more than veteran Stephan Lichtsteiner and Carl Jenkinson.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery faced the media on Wednesday to talk about their Europa League tie with Bate Borisov and he confirmed that Ainsley Maitland-Niles did not train that day because of an illness.

“Today Ainsley is sick and tomorrow we will see how he is, but today he cannot do the training. The other players are fit to play tomorrow.” said Unai Emery telling Arsenal.com.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles could return to training on Thursday but Unai Emery doesn’t usually use a player that didn’t take part in all of the training sessions done before a match as seen in the Mesut Ozil situation, because the German international trained on Wednesday which was the same day when the Arsenal squad was to travel to Belarus.

So Ainsley Maitland-Niles absence leaves Unai Emery with two options, and we all know that he will choose Stephan Lichtsteiner over Carl Jenkinson even though the Swiss international receives a lot of “hate” and abusive comments from the Arsenal fans.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
