Arsenal welcomed Southaven at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and they got a 2 nil win to go into the Premier League top four. Even though they got all the three points, Unai Emery will be disappointed that Alex Iwobi and Stephan Lichtsteiner were substituted because of injuries because players going on thr sidelines have given him many problems.

Alex Iwobi was very impressive for Arsenal in the first half because he assisted the second goal that was scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan and he constantly tracks back to help Sead Kolasinac who is poor defensively. Stephan Lichtsteiner was also having a great performance on Sunday but he was replaced by Laurent Koscielny in the first minutes of the second half and this is a big blow if he’s out for a long because Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Hector Bellerin are out while Carl Jenkinson doesn’t get enough chances.

Alex Iwobi was replaced by Aubameyang after he injured himself trying to take the ball away from a Southampton match but it didn’t look very serious. Arsenal boss Unai Emery faced the media after the match and confirmed that Stephan Lichtsteiner has back pain while Iwobi’s injury isn’t serious.

“Lichtsteiner has back pain but I think he can also be okay for Wednesday.” Unai Emery told Arsenal’s official website.

“I hope it’s only one knock and not a more important injury. I hope he can play Wednesday.” said Unai Emery when asked about Iwobi.

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
