Unai Emery tells Mesut Ozil what to do to avoid being omitted from squad
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has said that he is happy with Mesut Ozil this week because he has been training they way he wants.
The gunners were without Mesut Ozil on Thursday when they traveled to Belarus last week because Unai Emery thought it would be best if he was left out and the Arsenal fans were unhappy with this decision. Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has however today said that Mesut Ozil should make sure that he turns up for all training sessions to avoid getting left out of the match day squads because they want him to be consistent.
Arsenal will face Bate Borisov while under pressure because the visitors have one goal on aggregate and all eyes will be on Unai Emery to include Mesut Ozil in the starting eleven because the fans believe that the team plays better football when the German international is in the starting eleven.
Mesut Ozil has today taken part in training with the rest of his teammates to prepare for their match against Bate Borisov and he will be hoping to be in the starting eleven. Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has today faced the press to give his pre-match thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s game, he was then asked about Mesut Ozil and he said that he had a conversation with him.
“The key is in his hands. He is working very well this week. I ask him in our conversation for consistency, to be available for us for training, when you can train consistently you can help us with your best performance in the games.” Unai Emery told Football.London.
“This week has been good for all the players. I am looking at him doing the training like we want.”
“He needs to be available consistently for training, without the injuries, without the sickness.Without that we can see the best Mesut with us.”
