Xhaka sends a message to Arsenal fans amid injury fears
Arsenal fans are worried about Granit Xhaka’s health after he was subbed off because of an injury in Switzerland’s 3-3 draw with Denmark.

Granit Xhaka’s Switzerland faced Denmark in their UEFA EURO 2020 Qualifiers and the Arsenal midfielder was subbed off in the last minutes of the game. There has been many concerns about the health of Xhaka because the Arsenal fans believe he will be needed in their match vs Newcastle United on Monday.
Switzerland was leading by 3 goals to nil as the clock showed that there was only 10 minutes remaining for the game to end and Granit Xhaka was substituted, and the game ended 3-3 as Denmark made an incredible come back in the final six minutes of the match to salvage a draw. Switzerland head coach Vladimir Petkovic was asked as to why he subbed off Granit Xhaka in the 80th minute and he said that it was a request from the Arsenal star because he had adductor problems hence him failing to continue.
Switzerland doesn’t have any matches left in this international break and Granit Xhaka has given Arsenal fans hope of him not being injured in an Instagram post.

Granit Xhaka on Instagram
He wrote;
“We wanted the win, we didn’t get it but we are still in a strong position. Now back to Arsenal. We have aims we need to reach together.”
As you can see, he has spoken of how he can’t wait to get back to Arsenal and he has in the past always sent a message to the Arsenal fans that he will be hoping to come back stronger if he got injured in the previous match. So since he did not acknowledge that he is injured, maybe he will be fully fit to play vs Newcastle United as the game will be played on Monday.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery will probably give us an update about Granit Xhaka in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Newcastle United.
