Xhaka sends a message to Arsenal fans that are angry at Aubameyang
Arsenal got a penalty in the last minutes of the game and Aubameyang’s penalty kick was saved but Granit Xhaka has comforted him and also sent a message to the Arsenal fans.
Arsenal made a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium this afternoon. The gunners could have easily won this march because they had many glorious chances to score but missed them including the Aubameyang penalty kick which Hugo Lloris saved in the last minutes of the game.
Aubameyang was able to get for Arsenal a penalty after he was fouled in the box but he however looked very nervous as he took it and the goalkeeper casually saved it because it had no power in it and it was sent to the side which he predicted. Some Arsenal fans have said that Aubameyang is to blame for the team’s failure to collect all the three points but his teammate Granit Xhaka has come in to show support to him, and encouraging the Arsenal fans to also show some love for the Gabonese international because they do everything together.
The midfielder wrote on Instagram;
“We win together, we lose together, we draw together – keep your head up Aubameyang.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is Arsenal’s top scorer in the Premier League and the Arsenal fans will be hoping that he gets back to his best so that they can get back to the Premier League top four. It will be fair for the Arsenal fans to show support for Aubameyang because he also looked very disappointed in himself after the game because him missing the penalty kick could have costed the club the chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Most of the Arsenal fans liked the message Granit Xhaka sent to them and Aubameyang fans and most of them replied saying that he is showing good signs of becoming a great captain of the gunners in the future. Xhaka is among Unai Emery’s five captains.
