Arsenal will on Monday face Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium and the squad was on Sunday at the London Colney to train ahead of their game. Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery will be hoping that his players aren’t too relaxed on Monday because this is a must win game.

There wasn’t many absentees in the last training session done on Sunday apart from Welbeck, Holding and Bellerin who have long-term injuries but it’s worth to note that Granit Xhaka was also not involved which actually shows that the Swiss midfielder could miss the game. Here is a gallery of pictures taken on Sunday as the players work hard to get in shape after the international break.

The Arsenal players look happy as seen in the training pictures and Unai Emery will be hoping that they keep that spirit on Monday because Newcastle United are a determined side that will definitely give then a run for their money. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back after failing to send Gabon to the 2019 African Cup Of Nations but the gunners will however be happy that he is back without an injury because they need him to win the UEFA Europa League and get a top four finish.

It is interesting that Unai Emery decided to stop Eddie Nketiah from playing in Arsenal’s U23 match on Friday but maybe he plans to start both Aubameyang and Lacazette in the game against Newcastle United.

I enjoy football so much and I am in love with Arsenal Football Club. I always watch the matches and will always give you my opinions about the game here.
