Predicted Arsenal XI to face Wolves with all eyes on Aubameyang and Lacazette
Arsenal will this evening face Wolves and the gunners will be hoping to get all the three points. All eyes will be on Aubameyang and Lacazette.
The gunners will tonight be welcomed at the Molineux Stadium by Wolves tonight and Arsenal will come into this game with rage after they got beaten by Crystal Palace at their home stadium last weekend. So let’s take a look at the lineup that Unai Emery could use in this match since it’s a must win game.
PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE WOLVERHAMPTON
Leno, Monreal, Mustafi, Sokratis, Maitland-Niles, Kolasinac, Torreira, Xhaka, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette
FORMATION: 3-4-1-2
Goalkeeping:
The gunners did not lose against Crystal Palace because of Bernd Leno. So Unai Emery won’t be dropping him since he has over the time shown that he is an outstanding goalkeeper.
Defence:
Unai Emery has already said that the use of a three-man defence is the way forward and the gooners will be excited to have Sokratis back since his suspension has ended but Koscielny could be rested hence Mustafi playing. So Arsenal’s back three will consist of Monreal, Koscielny and Sokratis.
Sead Kolasinac and Ainsley Maitland-Niles will play as wingbacks as they have done in the two games against Napoli. Hopefully, they impress against Wolves.
Central Midfield:
Lucas Torreira will definitely start this match since Elneny and Guendouzi failed to impress in the loss vs Crystal Palace and the Uruguayan international will be paired with Granit Xhaka who was rested on Sunday.
Attacking Midfield:
The 3-4-1-2 formation allows the gunners to use a no.10 and Mesut Ozil is Arsenal’s only fit central attacking midfielder since Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out for weeks. So the German star will be in the squad despite it being an away game.
Striking:
Unai Emery has finally bought the idea of using two strikers and it would be very surprising if one of them got benched tonight. Aubameyang and Lacazette will probably start tonight because Unai Emery knows how Wolves are tough to crack.
