Unai Emery reveals how they will recover their confidence
Arsenal has now lost its two last two matches against Crystal Palace and Wolves and Unai Emery has revealed how they will get back their confidence.
The gunners will be back in Premier League action on Sunday and they will be facing Leicester City. Unai Emery’s team comes in this match hoping to avoid a third defeat in a row after failing to defeat Crystal Palace and Wolves in their last two games.
Arsenal wants to go back into the UEFA Champions League but they have now lost two matches consecutively hence dropping to the fifth position on the Premier League table and the players are considered to have lost confidence in themselves since they are now on a downfall, but Unai Emery has however said that they have all the time they need to regain their confidence ahead of their upcoming match against Leicester City.
The gunners have been very poor away from home this season but everyone was surprised to see them lose against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium two weeks ago since Manchester City were the only club that had defeated them there this season and it seems like it has affected them as they now went on to lose to Wolves. Unai Emery says that their first objective is to get back their confidence.
“The first target is to recover our confidence. We can build on this confidence each minute, each hour, each day, each week – and above all we’re training and we’re looking for a big performance for the three points.” Unai Emery told Arsenal.com.
Arsenal will next week face Valencia in the UEFA Europa League semi finals and a win over Leicester City would boost their confidence ahead of this European match, since they are at an advanced stage of the competition.
