Arsenal will on Sunday welcome Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners will be hoping to make it three wins in three matches but Unai Emery says that it won’t be easy despite it being a home match. The gunners made a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park last year in October.

It was a pretty emotional match for the gunners because they conceded two penalties hence dropping two points and their winning streak coming to an end but they will be hoping to turn things around this time since Unai Emery won’t be forced to play Granit Xhaka as a left back as he did last year.

Arsenal fans are confident ahead of their match against Crystal Palace because they have a remarkable home record and just defeated Napoli who are one of the best clubs in Europe but as always; Unai Emery says that they must treat all their opponents with respect and also pointed out a fact which can show that the gunners are right to fear the Crystal Palace side. The Arsenal boss says that his side must be cautious with the Eagles because there were able to defeat Manchester City away from home in December, 2018.

“They won against Manchester City, so on Sunday we have a lot of respect to them, to their players and to their coach.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.

“We want to impose – in our stadium – our spirit and personality and our ideas, our gameplan and the first idea against them, to beat them, is respect.”

It’s not a surprise that Emery would speak highly of the Eagles because he has twice failed to defeat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side this season. Crystal Palace have a lot of attacking players like Zaha who helped them get a draw against the gunners the last time these two clubs met, Unai Emery will be hoping that their home form doesn’t end this Sunday when the Eagles play at the beautiful Emirates Stadium.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
