Arsenal will probably have a very interesting summer transfer window because they will have a lot of departures and Unai Emery will be hoping to get rid of the players that did not impress him in his first season in English football.

Arsenal fans have over the years criticized their club for not signing big stars hence them failing to win the Premier League for 15 years and they will be hoping that this ends with the appointment of Unai Emery and the fact that Stan Kroenke has taken full control of the club. Arsene Wenger has in the last decade been depending on academy players’ breakthrough to the first team hence not signing already proven players in some positions.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has now spent one year in England and the fans expect him to finally make a challenge for the Premier League trophy next season since this campaign is for him to learn about the league and his players. Some transfer rumours have claimed that the gunners will have less than £45million to spend in the summer but the latest statement by Unai Emery could prove this wrong as he said that even though they will still maintain the club’s tradition of giving chances to youngsters but they will so need some big signings to win titles.

“In the past the club have done great work in watching players, finding and signing young players and developing our players in the academy.” Unai Emery told Goal.

“I have big respect for our work, for our players in the academy. I want to develop the players here – giving them progress to achieve something at a big club like we are.

“We can also achieve [buy] some players who are in other teams, who can come here and give us this performance – like Van Dijk with Liverpool.”

I just love writing and football so much ever since the 2000's when football got popular in our country. I am a self esteemed person who believes is am always right.
