Arsenal provisional squad to face Valencia gets released
The Arsenal squad has today arrived in Spain for their match against Valencia. Unai Emery has went with a strong squad since this will be a must win game.
The Arsenal squad has today traveled to Spain for the second leg of their encounter with Valencia which will determine whether they will be in the UEFA Europa League final. The gunners will be hoping to maintain their two goal advantage and avoid the embarrassment that Barcelona had in last night’s match against Liverpool at Anfield Stadium.
The gunners don’t have any new injuries apart from the confirmation that Denis Suarez and Aaron Ramsey have been ruled out for the rest of the season. Unai Emery has traveled with his best available squad because this will be a must win match for his team since they have failed to get a Premier League top four finish this season.
GOALKEEPERS
Petr Cech, Bernd Leno
DEFENDERS
Stephan Lichtsteiner, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Nacho Monreal, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles
MIDFIELDERS
Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mohamed Elneny, Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi, Joe Willock
FORWARDS
Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Eddie Nketiah
The Arsenal fans will be happy that Unai Emery has included some youngsters like Willock and Nketiah in the squad since they have been disappointed with the performance of the senior players in the last three weeks. Lacazette and Aubameyang were on target last week when the gunners defeated Valencia 3-1 in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, the fans will now be calling onto them to score again at the Mestalla Stadium since an away goal will be important for them.
