Burnley Vs Arsenal: Fans and Emery need this win
The gunners will this weekend be welcomed at the Turf Moor by Burnley and they will be hoping to end the season with an away win as they prepare for the Europa League final.
Today marks the end of the 2018/19 Premier League season and Arsenal will be facing Burnley but they have unfortunately failed to get a top four finish. The gunners will however be hoping to win this match since they could end up finishing sixth if Manchester United defeats Cardiff City.
Even though some Arsenal fans believe that it would be best to play a youthful squad in this match since they have a final in a few weeks’ time but that might not be the right option because the North Londoners will need to atleast finish 5th to conclude that they have slightly improved from last season under Unai Emery. The Arsenal fans would be happy with this because it would be embarrassing for them to lose and finish sixth and don’t end up winning the UEFA Europa League.
Unai Emery also want his team to win this match because the points tally matters a lot since the top officials at the club will try to assess his first season and see if he has made some improvements to their side, the gunners currently have 67 points and getting three points today will see them wrap up the campaign with 70 points which is an improvement to the 63 that they got last season under Arsene Wenger.
Burnley will however be a tough side to beat because they are defensively solid and the gunners have been mentally weak away from home this season, Emery will want his squad to at least win this game so that they can start from there next season in trying to fix their poor away from home.
