Wilfried Zaha has apparently become Arsenal’s main summer transfer target and the gunners will be hoping to make an offer in the coming days for the Ivorian international according to reports. Wilfried Zaha was impressive for Crystal Palace last season, scoring 10 goals and getting five assists.

Ever since the report claiming that Arsenal will soon make an offer for Wilfried Zaha got published, the gooners have tried to work out how it will be possible for their club to sign the winger who is tied down at Crystal Palace with a long-term contract. Arsenal fans want Wilfried Zaha at the Emirates Stadium but are not happy about the possibility of Aubameyang being sold in order to fund this deal.

Arsenal has however now received a major blow in its pursuit of Wilfried Zaha as a report by the Daily Mail claims that Crystal Palace have put an asking price of £100million for the Ivorian international. This has been done to discourage the gunners from trying to take away Wilfried Zaha because Crystal Palace fear the backlash that will happen if they lose another star in the same transfer window when they’ve already sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.

The report claims that the gunners will not be able to afford Zaha now even if they decide to sell off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang because Crystal Palace are not expected to remove their £100million asking price. It will be interesting to see what decision that Arsenal will have to make as its claimed that Unai Emery is a big fan of the 26-year-old who got 10 Premier League goals last season.

Wilfried Zaha is understood to be interested in a move to Arsenal but the gunners have few chances of signing him in this summer transfer window because they missed out on qualifying for UEFA Champions League by one point last season.
