Arsenal sets an asking price for Mustafi and one club is interested
The gunners have put a €25million asking price for Shkodran Mustafi who has attracted interest from Fenerbahce according to reports.
Shkodran Mustafi arrived at Arsenal in the 2016 summer transfer window and he was impressive in his first 15 matches as a gunner but he has over the years lost form and is now hated by most supporters of the North Londoners.
Shkodran Mustafi has failed to remove embarrassing mistakes from his game and even with the appointment of a new boss, Unai Emery has not been able to improve the German international as he still made some notable mistakes last season in some Premier League games like the 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace where he let Wilfried Zaha go through to score a goal that helped the Eagles to win the game.
Arsenal now wants to sell Shkodran Mustafi and Unai Emery is behind this as claimed by BBC journalist David Ornstein. The gunners have set an asking price of €25million for Shkodran Mustafi according to AKSAM and it’s also claimed that the gunners are set to welcome representatives of Fenerbahce to London next week.
The report claims that Fenerbahce was first interested in Laurent Koscielny but they however decided to instead go for Mustafi because he’s much younger than the Frenchman. It’s claimed that Fenerbahce want to sign Shkodran Mustafi on a one year loan deal but it’s not revealed if Arsenal will indeed accept this because this would increase the chances of losing him for free as he only has two more years on his current contract. The Arsenal fans will be hoping that Mustafi finally gets sold this summer.
