The gunners will obviously try to sign some new players in this summer transfer window and Wilfried Zaha is a name that keeps coming up in the reports which claim that the gunners want a top winger. Zaha has exceptional talent and many would convince you that he would flourish at Arsenal since it is a side that has no natural wingers at the moment.

Arsenal is however in a financial crisis because it failed to get UEFA Champions League football and they now have to use a low-budget in strengthening their squad in this summer transfer window and unfortunately for them, Crystal Palace value Wilfried Zaha at £80million.

BBC journalist David Ornstein has today claimed that Wilfried Zaha would be open to a move to Arsenal but also says that a move might not be possible as the gunners can’t afford him now unless they decide to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who was the joint Premier League top scorer last season. So it remains to be seen if the gunners would be willing to lose Aubameyang if it meant that they would get a top winger that can be combining with Lacazette.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored 30 goals for Arsenal last season and Unai Emery clearly favoured him over Lacazette last season so his sale definitely won’t be funding the purchase of Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

The report by Ornstein also claims that Arsenal is also working on the deals of William Saliba and Kieran Tierney.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
