The gunners will be looking to bolster their squad in this summer transfer window because the club wants to get back to the UEFA Champions League. Unai Emery wants to get good wingers at Arsenal because both Mkhitaryan and Iwobi are inconsistent and forced him to use wingbacks last season.

Current reports claim that the gunners could reignite their interest in Yannick Carrasco who they tried to sign in the January transfer window but failed because his club Dalian Yifang never wanted to do this kind of deal. However, Sport now claims that the gunners are in advanced talks with Dalian Yifang over the signing of Yannick Carrasco who has already confirmed his desire to return to Europe to the media.

Yannick Carrasco is an outstanding winger but he made a hasty decision to make a move to China from Atletico Madrid at a young age but it is now claimed that he regrets this decision and would like to return to Europe with the Premier League being his likely destination as per the reports. Carrasco will be a great signing for the gunners because he’s the type of winger that they currently need and his acquisition could allow the North Londoners to part ways with Henrikh Mkhitaryan who the club want to sell because he was poor last season and is on high wages.

The report did not reveal the amount which Arsenal will pay to Dalian Yifang but they reveal that the Belgian international is in talks with the gunners. It will be interesting to see how this deal progresses but most indicators show that he might be Arsenal’s first signing.
