Former Arsenal star shows support towards Laurent Koscielny
Laurent Koscielny refused to go to USA with his teammates but former Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini has sent a message to him showing him some support.

Laurent Koscielny was named as Arsenal’s captain at the start of last season by Unai Emery and he still has one more year on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium but he however refused to go with his teammates to USA for the pre-season tour.
Laurent Koscielny’s decision to refuse to go to the US has caused a lot of speculation about his future and the club in general as the fans were waiting for new signings, only for their captain to down tools at the start of the pre-season training. The Arsenal squad went to USA on Thursday last week and have been training up to this day and will in the next few hours face Colorado Rapids without Laurent Koscielny.
Laurent Koscielny hasn’t released any statement about this matter but his old friend Mathieu Flamini has backed him and given him some advice on this situation that looks set to ruin his legacy at the North London club. Mathieu Flamini played with Laurent Koscielny at Arsenal during 2013 to 2016 and they always had a great relationship since they were both French.
Mathieu Flamini sent a message over to Laurent Koscielny via his official Instagram account saying that he hopes that a positive solution gets found to end this drama.
“Lolo, my thoughts and support are with you. First and foremost, I know how committed and true to the Arsenal badge you have been all these years.” wrote Mathieu Flamini.
“Furthermore, I know how hard it must be for you to face this difficult situation. Emotions run high so sometimes with reflection, one can look at things from a different perspective. Given all of the above, I’m sure a positive solution will be found.”
Laurent reportedly wants to move to France on a free transfer but the gunners have however refused to do so and he also opted out of traveling to USA but the Arsenal fans will be hoping that this gets resolved as soon as possible.
