Emery speaks out on Tierney, Bellerin & Holding’s return ahead of the Man Utd clash
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has spoken about the return of Bellerin, Tierney and Holding ahead of their match against Manchester United.
The gunners welcomed Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin back into the squad on Tuesday when they defeated Nottingham Forest 5-0. Holding and Bellerin got injured last season and were missed so much because they were on form before they went on the sidelines, Kieran Tierney is a new signing that will improve the Arsenal defence but he however arrived at the club with an injury.
Arsenal will on Monday make a visit to the Old Trafford to face Manchester United and Unai Emery faced the media on Friday to speak out on the match and he was also asked about Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin’s return from the injury and he claims that he was delighted with the people’s reaction to them returning.
The Arsenal boss did not reveal if they will be involved in their upcoming match against Manchester United but he however said that he believes that these three will make them a competitive team since they all could walk into his first starting eleven.
“It’s amazing news, It was amazing to see the people’s reaction to Rob Holding, Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin, who played his first 15 minutes [at the end].” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.
“It was a great moment. We can be a better competitive team with them. For us having every player available is the perfect moment.”
Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding played more than 60 minutes in the league cup game so they have more chances of making it to the squad that travels to Manchester than Bellerin but then being in the starting eleven is also another subject because Unai Emery might not want to risk them in a big game when he could easily wait until the UEFA Europa League game which won’t have a lot of intensity.
