Unai Emery reveals the key areas that Arsenal needs to improve in
Arsenal has so far played four matches and gunners head coach Unai Emery has spoken of the things that they need to improve on in the next matches.
The gunners have had a great start to the new season as they have collected seven points from their first four matches and Unai Emery will be hoping that they make it 10 points this weekend by defeating Watford. Arsenal signed six players but William Saliba was however loaned back, leaving Emery to work with the other five new players.
Arsenal fans have huge expectations this season since the club backed Unai Emery with a lot of signings even though his side collapsed at the end of last season and even lost to Chelsea in the UEFA Europa League final which they needed to win to play in this year’s UEFA Champions League. Arsenal had a lot of problems last season and Unai Emery will be hoping to end some of them this season since its he is now in his second year at the club.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has spoken of the areas in which his side needs to improve on and he also claims that their first four matches have shown that they are an offensive side but he however believes that they need to find balance so that they are both defensively and offensively good. He also wants the new players to adapt to his playing style.
“We [still] need to improve the adaptation of the different players who have come here in the last moments. Also, we need to improve in our way.” Unai Emery told Arsenal’s official website.
“For example, I think we can continue being very offensive with a lot of important offensive players. We also want to take the balance defensively to be strong and I think the first four matches allowed us to show our first characteristic: to be offensive.”
