Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has in the last few weeks become a fan favourite after his incredible performance against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Europa League and he once again showed his quality as he impressed in their 1-1 draw with Manchester United. The 18-year-old now has three assists and one goal in all competitions which is pretty remarkable for a player that was first considered as a third choice on the flanks.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery decided to include Bukayo Saka in the starting eleven that faced Manchester United on Sunday because the young winger was impressive in the previous matches and the young Englishman didn’t disappoint the boss as he assisted Aubameyang’s equaliser in the second half, and also put on a better performance than Arsenal’s record signing Nicolas Pepe.

Bukayo Saka made his first team debut last season but it looks like he could establish himself as a crucial member of the Arsenal squad this season with these performances that he’s putting on. Arsenal boss Unai Emery was clearly happy with his performance against Manchester United and he praised him for improving and being mature.

“I think he’s working and improving, being mature and also playing matches in front of each player and each team as tonight against Manchester United.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.

“But his work is natural and he is improving. He is helping us now as an important player.”

“We are going to work with him with him with calm, with patience, but if he deserves to take minutes and to take confidence for helping us with his performance, that is fantastic for us.”
