Arsenal receives a major boost ahead of the game against Crystal Palace
Arsenal will on Saturday face Crystal Palace and they’ve just received a massive boost ahead of this game as Roy Hodgson as Roy Hodgson has confirmed multiple injuries.
Arsenal will at the weekend face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and they will be hoping to win this game as making it three wins in three matches in 2020 would be huge for Mikel Arteta and would also be a morale booster for the players.
The gunners will come into the match against Crystal Palace with immense confidence after winning their last two matches and it looks like they’ve just received a massive boost ahead of this game as The Eagles boss Roy Hodgson has confirmed that his side will be without 11 senior players due to injuries.
“Counting those two [Meyer and Riedewald] now, that makes 11. How many players are we going to need in our squad to put out what we would think is an equally valid 11 in games like this?” said Roy Hodgson as quoted by the Independent.
Crystal Palace will also be without their captain Luka Milivojevic as he received a red card in their FA Cup third round match and the Arsenal fans are definitely familiar with this name as he usually scores penalties against them. The Eagles will however still be a tough cookie to break for Mikel Arteta as he will need to make sure that his side doesn’t get humiliated by Wilfried Zaha since he has been haunting the gunners for a long time.
Mikel Arteta has already stated that he wants to introduce a winning mentality at Arsenal and he will certainly hope that his team takes advantage of the injury crisis of Crystal Palace so that they can push for a Premier League top four finish as getting back in the UEFA Champions League is very important.
