The Premier League returns on Tuesday and Arsenal will be making a visit to their London neighbours Chelsea who lost to Newcastle United at the weekend. Arsenal will come into this match with more confidence than the last time they met because the 2-1 loss against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium came when the gunners had been with their new boss Mikel Arteta for a few days.

Arsenal have drawn their last two matches but it’s very common for players to step up in big matches like tomorrow’s London Derby and it’s always been a game that is entertaining in the last few years. This will be a huge game for Mikel Arteta because he will have to show his tactics because Frank Lampard defeated him in that department in the reverse fixture after he brought on Jorginho who then helped the West London club get a win over the gunners.

Arsenal will need to win this match since this could probably be their last chance of keeping their Premier League top four hopes alive since a win over Chelsea will mean that they are just seven points away and Lampard’s side have been inconsistent this season as they surprisingly have more losses than the North Londoners.

TEAM NEWS:

The gunners have released their latest news and Reiss Nelson and Sead Kolasinac will be returning at the start of next month. Kieran Tierney is out until March and Calum Chambers will miss the rest of the season. Aubameyang will of course miss the match against Chelsea due to the red card in the game against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea received a scare on Saturday when Reece James got replaced but Frank Lampard has confirmed that he could play against the gunners. Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Marco van Ginkel won’t be available while Alonso is a doubt.
