David Luiz sends a beautiful message to Arsenal fans about Mikel Arteta
It’s been one month since Mikel Arteta was appointed as the new head coach of Arsenal. David Luiz has asked Arsenal fans to believe in Arteta as he haa been impressed with the 37-year-old coach.
Arsenal appointed Mikel Arteta as their new head coach in December last year and he has had an above average start at the North London club and David Luiz who arrived at the club in the summer has asked the fans to believe in the new boss.
Mikel Arteta retired a few years ago and he has been working with Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola for three years and many elite managers have claimed that he will definitely go on to be one of the best coaches in the world. Managing Arsenal will be Mikel Arteta’s first job as a permanent manager and everyone understands how it will be a tough job since the gunners have declined massively this season but David Luiz has however called for people to believe in him and also praised him, saying that his enthusiasm is contagious for everybody at the club.
Arsenal completed the signing of David Luiz from Chelsea in the summer transfer window and he has been one of the top performers since Mikel Arteta arrived at the club. He has sent a message to the fans asking for patience since Mikel Arteta is building something at Arsenal and that they could achieve big things this season and in the future.
“He knows football, he knows inside the pitch. He loves football, he loves to work, so this enthusiasm is contagious for everybody.” David Luiz told Arsenal’s official website.
“What Mikel is trying to build is something big and I really believe in his philosophy, I really believe we can do something big this year and in the future, so I’m really, really happy because we have our way to go. This way, is it going to be a hard way? Yes. Is it going to be difficult to achieve? Yes, but it’s possible. Yes, it’s possible.”
Mikel Arteta signed a three-year deal with Arsenal and the club will be hoping that he trys to implement his philosophy in these months and hopefully challenge for the UEFA Europa League since it could be their only way to get next season’s UEFA Champions League.
