Alexandre Lacazette arrived at Arsenal in the 2017 summer transfer window and the gunners were hoping that he would be the one to take them to them back to the UEFA Champions League but he however struggled in his first season and even the acquisition of Aubameyang hasn’t steered them into a UCL spot as of now.

Alexandre Lacazette was however impressive last season and did attract interest of some clubs in the summer transfer window but the gunners did not lose him since he is on a big contract and was happy at the Emirates Stadium. There has however been reports that Lacazette has an agreement with the club which would allow him to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window if the North London club fails to get a UEFA Champions League spot.

Arsenal will tomorrow face Olympiacos and the gunners had their pre-match press conference a few minutes ago and Lacazette was questioned about these reports claiming that he would leave the gunners in the summer if the club fails to play in next year’s Champions League but he has however denied this and also said that he can’t leave right now as he has a contract and happy as the rest of the team.

“I didn’t know about this ( the reports ). I have a contract with the club, so there is no point for me to leave if everyone is happy.” Lacazette told reporters.

Alexandre Lacazette has scored two goals in the last two matches and he is expected to be in the starting eleven that faces Olympiacos tomorrow. The gunners will be hoping that he continues scoring as they suffered in the last few weeks when he was on a goal drought.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
