Arsenal will today be hoping to walk away with all the three points when they face a Newcastle United that has a lot of trouble in creating chances and so we take a look at the predicted lineup that Mikel Arteta might use. This will be a must win game for the gunners and so here is the predicted Arsenal lineup to face Newcastle United with all eyes on Nelson and Aubameyang.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE NEWCASTLE UNITED

Leno, Kolasinac, Luiz, Mustafi, Bellerin, Xhaka, Torreira, Aubameyang, Ozil, Nelson, Lacazette

GOALKEEPING:

Bernd Leno is Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper and since he is fully fit to play in today’s game then he will be in between the goal posts this evening.

DEFENCE:

Mikel Arteta has shown that he prefers Mustafi over Sokratis and so the German defender will definitely be partnered with David Luiz. With the return of Kolasinac, the gunners will now finally have natural fullbacks with Bellerin covering the right while the Bosnian international plays at the left.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD:

Arteta benched Lucas Torreira in Arsenal’s previous match against Burnley and many believe that this was because the Clarets like playing long balls hence needing Matteo Guendouzi since he is taller than the Uruguayan international. Torreira will however return to the starting eleven today and be partnered with Xhaka.

ATTACKING MIDFIELD:

Reiss Nelson has returned from the sidelines and since Arteta is a big fan of the young Englishman then him and Aubameyang will likely be on the flanks. Martinelli and Saka might have to come from the bench in this one.

STRIKING:

Alexandre Lacazette is yet to score since Arteta got appointed as the new head coach of Arsenal but he has however not been dropped because he is the only one in the squad that can play in the centre forward position how the coach wants. So he will probably be in today’s starting eleven.
