It is going to be exciting when the Premier League returns because everyone is already obviously missing it at the moment and so we are today going to take a look at four different attacking trios that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could use when football is back.

Arsenal will be hoping to collect maximum points in their last Premier League matches in order to stand a chance of getting a Premier League top four finish and so Arteta will have to choose the best lineups, we are going to ignore the rest of the team and focus on four types of attacking trios that the gunners might use.

ARSENAL ATTACKING TRIO A

Arsenal is most likely to use the attacking trio of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe when the Premier League returns because they are the senior players that the gunners have in the front attacking positions.

Lacazette was however on a poor run of games before he saved Arsenal with a late winner against West Ham United but that goal might be the deciding factor that makes Mikel Arteta choose to play him in the centre forward position and Aubameyang & Pepe on the flanks.

ARSENAL ATTACKING TRIO B

As we said in the tough decisions that Arteta will have to make article, the return of Kieran Tierney could be the end of the experiment of playing Bukayo Saka as a left back and since he was on form then it would only be proper to push him higher up the pitch on the left-wing position.

This attacking trio would also see Aubameyang play in his striking position while Saka and Pepe whip in balls for him and he has in the last few months improved his heading skills.

ARSENAL ATTACKING TRIO C

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has shown that he won’t be reluctant in giving minutes to Eddie Nketiah as the youngster has started some games ahead of Lacazette and seems to be higher in the pecking order over Gabriel Martinelli whose seen as generational by the fans of the North London club.

Nketiah also hasn’t disappointed Arteta as he has scored two goals in all competitions. Aubameyang and Pepe would start on the flanks while the 20-year-old leads the attack but this trio might not be wanted by most fans as some want their top scorer to play in his main position.

ARSENAL ATTACKING TRIO D

Gabriel Martinelli has scored 10 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season and the fans are hoping that Arteta gives him more chances in the starting on the left flank and so him there, Pepe on the right and Aubameyang could be one of the attacking trios that the gunners could use when football returns.
