Report: Incredible stats showing how influential Saka and Martinelli have been for Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka have both been impressive for Arsenal this season and we take a look at the stats supporting how they’ve been influential.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been Arsenal’s best prospects in the 2019/20 campaign and even though the season has been a bit miserable for the fans but they’ll however be happy to see that there’s two young players that seem to have a great future ahead of them. We now take a look at the impact that these two 18 year old’s have had at Arsenal this season.

GABRIEL MARTINELLI

Gabriel Martinelli signed for Arsenal in the 2019 summer transfer for £6million from Ituano which is in the fourth tier of Brazilian football league and he has had an incredible performance in his first season at the Emirates as he has found the net 10 times already and also made two assists. He has helped the gunners to win some UEFA Europa League matches and even scored in the Premier League against Chelsea, West Ham United and Sheffield United.

Martinelli’s performance this season will give the Arsenal scouts the hope and necessary example to give to the executives in order to be cleared to look again in South America to discover other gems that haven’t already been snapped up by other European clubs. Arsenal could confidently let go of high earners like Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the summer since the likes of Martinelli have shown that the youngsters can also be trusted. Martinelli has been involved in 12 goals for Arsenal this season so far. 

BUKAYO SAKA

Bukayo Saka has been impressive for Arsenal this season as he has even broke Cesc Fabregas’ record of a youngster reaching double-digit assists in a campaign. The Arsenal fans were worried about how they would cope after letting Alex Iwobi who had become a senior member of the squad leave but it looks like Saka has the potential to be better than him and also makes Arsenal academy coaches proud as its young players from there were no longer impressing in the first team.

Bukayo Saka has played so well in the left back position for Arsenal this season and he has been influential in a number of wins for Arteta’s side, as he recently assisted in the game against Newcastle and Everton and even scored as well assistUntold to knock Bournemouth out of the FA Cup. Bukayo Saka has been involved in 13 goals for Arsenal this season.

So both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been involved in a total number of 25 goals for Arsenal so far this season and they will only improve with time as Mikel Arteta is an incredible coach that can get the best out of wingers.
