Report: Two reasons why Willian will definitely be an Arsenal player before the start of next season
Willian has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days and we take a look at two reasons as to why the gunners will definitely sign him on a free transfer in the summer.
Willian has in the last few days been linked with a move to Arsenal and these reports have received mixed reactions from the Arsenal fans because one section says that they no longer want to keep getting scraps from Chelsea while others believe that he could genuinely be an outstanding signing for the club.
The summer transfer window is still months away but we however take a look at two reasons why Willian will definitely be an Arsenal player by the time that the 2020/21 season begins.
1. WILLIAN WILL BE A FREE AGENT
Willlian has failed to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new deal and he has now already confirmed that he will be looking to get a new club in the upcoming summer transfer window since The Blues were not able to accept his demands even though he has been a loyal servant of theirs. Willian will be a free agent in the summer and so Arsenal will be the favourites to get him since they won’t have the stumbling block of putting up a fee and will have to work on giving him good wages.
Arsenal will be looking to deals like these in the transfer window because they will be making a loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic and so getting a PL experienced Willian for free will be good business.
2. WILLIAN’S FRIENDSHIP WITH LUIZ AND LONDON
David Luiz is a very good friend of Willian and so the Arsenal centre back will definitely try to convince his national team teammate to come, and join him at the Emirates Stadium since he has also seemed to have settled at the club in the last few months. The report linking Willian with a move to Arsenal even confirmed that David Luiz had already begun trying to convince the Brazilian winger to come and join Arsenal.
Willian has spent a lot of years in London and his family are said to be happy there, and he himself has also in the past continually said that he wants to stay there and so Arsenal could give him the opportunity of playing for a top class side while not having to move to another city or country.
