Arsenal star accidentally reveals the return date of the Premier League
It’s been two months now since the Premier League got suspended and Arsenal star Dani Ceballos has accidentally revealed when the Premier League will return.
The Premier League has been suspended for two months now but the league has however begun preparing for its return as the clubs have been allowed to start training in small groups. Arsenal star Dani Ceballos has spoken out on when the Premier League will return and the results of the COVID-19 tests of the squad of the gunners.
The Premier League got suspended in March a few days after Arsenal announced to the entire world that Mikel Arteta had tested positive of COVID-19 but he has since then recovered and is preparing his squad for the restart of matches. Dani Ceballos who arrived at Arsenal from Real Madrid on loan has accidentally revealed that the league will restart on the 20th of June even though it hasn’t been confirmed and that all his teammates tested negative of COVID-19.
“We are going to start a week late with respect to what is being talked about in Spain, which is June 12, and we are going to start the league on the 20th.” said Ceballos as quoted by The Metro.
“48 hours ago we passed the tests and the truth is that the entire team have given a negative result,’ said the midfielder.”
The Arsenal players have already started training in small groups and so it will come as a big relief to the gooners that their players don’t have the virus as this means that the “PROJECT START” goes according to plan as the North Londoners will need football back to return so that they can try to back into the UEFA Champions League spots.
Dani Ceballos’ deal at Arsenal was supposed to end in July but he will however still stay at the Emirates Stadium since FIFA allowed those deals to be extended until the leagues finally get completed. Ceballos had become a regular starter in Arteta’s team before the league got suspended and so he will be looking forward to the return of football.
