New training footage hints at Arteta’s decision on Saka & Guendouzi’s playing positions
The Premier League will soon return and training footage from Arsenal has hint at the playing positions that Arteta will be using Saka and Guendouzi in.

The Premier League got suspended two months ago but players have however in the last two weeks been allowed to return to the training grounds to prepare for the return of football. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has begun preparing for the restart of the Premier League and training footage has hint at his decisions for Saka and Guendouzi playing positions.
Bukayo Saka has played a lot of minutes under Mikel Arteta this season mainly because the gunners lost their two first team left backs i.e. Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney and the youngster despite being a winger managed to do an incredible job in that position hence raising the question whether he should change his position from being a left winger to a fullback. Guendouzi has on the hand not played a lot under Arteta and we however have not known what the gunners boss thinks of the young Frenchman as he has played as a defensive midfielder, deep lying midfielder as well as a box to box midfielder many times.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta recently organised small group training at the London Colney and it looks like he has made his decision on the playing positions of Bukayo Saka and Matteo Guendouzi. In the recently released training footage, Saka is seen training with the forwards while Guendouzi is training with the defenders.
Saks training with the forwards is a clear sign that Arsenal’s head coach Mikel Arteta will let him to play in his favourite left wing position and this will be disappointing for some gooners because they wanted the manager to convince the player to continue playing as a left back since the 18-year-old was very impressive in that position.
Matteo Guendouzi has played in many positions since he joined Arsenal but it however looks like Arteta will want the 20-year-old to be playing the same role as Granit Xhaka whereby he helps in the build up and covering for a fullback when he goes forward.
