Premier League announce the restart of group training and how this will be important for Arteta
The Premier League recently announced that the clubs would be allowed to have small group trainings and this will probably be exciting news for Arsenal’s boss Mikel Arteta who only had a few months with his squad.

The Premier League will be returning next month and the league has already begun implementing measures that will allow the clubs to gain fitness so that they are fully ready when it finally restarts. Today, the Premier League clubs were allowed to start training in small groups and managers including Mikel Arteta will probably be happy with this progress in trying to bring everything back to normal.
The Premier League has been suspended since March and after the German Bundesliga successfully returning at the weekend, this has also helped the PL in accelerating their plans for the restart and the first thing was to allow clubs to start training in small groups with however no physical contact and another number of restrictions. The players will arrive at the training grounds with their training uniforms and all the equipments will be disinfected to avoid any chance of them getting it.

As confirmed by Sky Sports, a meeting that involved all the 20 Premier League clubs and their medical specialists saw the decision to start small group training get approved and this will potentially be good news for people like Mikel Arteta as he can be able to do drills with some of the players since he did not get enough time with them having only been confirmed as the head coach of Arsenal in December last year.
Mikel Arteta was only with the Arsenal players for three months before the Coronavirus saw the Premier League get suspended and even though it is only small group of players that will be allowed to be on one pitch for now, he could still choose like some of his centre backs to practice the playing out of the back as they await when the government will allow them to start training as in the past so that he can continue to embed his philosophy into them.
