Mikel Arteta has received a huge injury boost ahead of Arsenal’s first game vs Man City
Arsenal will face Manchester City when the Premier League returns and Mikel Arteta has received a huge boost ahead of this game.
The Premier League will return on the 17th of June and Arsenal will be facing Manchester City on the restart date since their game was rescheduled due to Carabao Cup final. Mikel Arteta will want all his players to be fit for this game and the 38 year old has received a huge boost ahead of this game.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought an abrupt stop to the Premier League in March and this has led to many clubs losing a lot of money due to lost matchday revenue and many other factors associated with pausing sport. The clubs will however be happy that atleast this time has given their players some time to regain fitness with no football being played and Arsenal could be one of those that have benefited a lot from this since they had many players on the sidelines.
🦁 Bravo, Lucas!

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has received a huge injury boost ahead of the game against Manchester City after its now been confirmed that Lucas Torreira has restarted training with the rest of the squad and this is big news for the North Londoners since he is the best defensive midfielder in the squad, and since they will be playing against the defending champions then they will definitely need him.
Lucas Torreira got injured in Arsenal’s FA Cup game against Portsmouth and he has since then not played and the spread of the Coronavirus and shutting down of all sports have given him enough time to come back before the end of the season. Mikel Arteta will be hoping to restart with a win over Manchester City and getting a win over The Citizens would show how they’ve come to fight for a place in the Champions League and so having another option in Torreira will make him happy.
