Arteta hints at the type of lineup that he will field against Liverpool
Arsenal will tomorrow face Liverpool on Wednesday and Mikel Arteta has spoken out on what type of lineup that he will use in this upcoming game.

The Premier League returns to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday as Arsenal will face the 2019/20 Champions Liverpool and this will be a must win game for the North Londoners as their chances of qualifying for Europe through the league will end if they don’t get all the three points. Mikel Arteta will understand how it’s a big challenge to beat Liverpool and he has hint at the type of lineup that he will use in this game.
The gunners will come into this match after their embarrassing defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and the fans will want nothing but a good fight against Liverpool as their fragility was once again shown in the previous game but Mikel Arteta will have to think a lot about whether to go with a full strong squad against Jürgen Klopp’s side when they have Manchester City at the weekend in the FA Cup which is a competition that gives them a better chance of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta had a press conference today ahead of the game against Liverpool and he was asked on whether he would use a weaker team against The Reds and then go with a strong squad against Manchester City or vice-versa but he however seemed to hint that he might use a strong squad tomorrow that is in the best condition to play in tomorrow’s game.
“We have to go game by game, today we will know more as well about how the players have recovered.” said Mikel Arteta as per Arsenal Media.
“Obviously some players have had huge demands since we rejoined the season and have played a lot of minutes, and you can see that recovery-wise with the schedule that we have been given by the Premier League, to play every two and a half days, but we will asses them today and tomorrow and put the players on the pitch who are in the best possible condition to compete and try to win the game again.”
