Mustafi, Bellerin, Leno & Arsenal’s latest team news ahead of Chelsea clash in FA Cup final
Arsenal have released their latest news ahead of the Emirates FA Cup final with updates about many players including Mustafi, Bellerin and Leno.
Arsenal will on Saturday face Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium in the Emirates FA Cup final and the North London club has released their latest team news with updates about many players including Shkodran Mustafi, Hector Bellerin and Bernd Leno. The club released the latest team news on their official website.
Hector Bellerin was not included in the matchday squad that played against Watford due to tightness in right calf and there were a lot of worries among the Arsenal fanbase that the right back would miss the final since it is just a few days away. The latest team news released by Arsenal has revealed that Bellerin has returned to training with the rest of his teammates and so he will obviously be in the squad that faces Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup final.
Shkodran Mustafi sustained a hamstring injury in the game against Manchester City some time back and the club has confirmed that the German centre back underwent a small procedure on his right hamstring on Saturday and so this will see him only be able to return to full training in October. Mustafi will be missed in the FA Cup final as he was fully trusted by Mikel Arteta.
Bernd Leno sustained a knee injury in Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion and he will be aiming to return to full training before the end of this week. Gabriel Martinelli got injured in training a few weeks back and he will not feature once again this campaign after a challenge from a teammate. The Brazilian international will be aiming to return to full training before the end of the year.
Pablo Mari sustained an ankle injury in Arsenal’s loss to Manchester City at the start of Premier League restart and he will be hoping to return to full training in September as per these latest team news. Calum Chambers got a knee injury in Arsenal’s game against Chelsea a year ago and the centre back will also return this year as per the latest team news.
