Arsenal’s next opponent after Leicester City in the Carabao Cup confirmed
Arsenal will play Leicester City in the Carabao Cup and their next opponent if they progress to the next round has been confirmed.

Arsenal will play Leicester City in the third round of the Carabao Cup next week and the draw that saw the gunners get this opponent received criticism from the gooners as they had hoped for a lower league club so that their young players would get a chance to impress. Another draw has been made for the fourth round games and Arsenal are likely to face another tough opponent in the next stage if they beat Leicester City.
Arsenal will play Leicester City away from home next week and it’s now been confirmed that the gunners will face either Lincoln City or Premier League Champions Liverpool in the Carabao Cup fourth round if they beat The Foxes. The gunners will obviously want to proceed to the next stage of the Carabao Cup but they will however feel that their run will have been hard as its very likely that Liverpool will beat Lincoln City and then face the North Londoners at the Anfield Stadium.
Arsenal will however be confident if they do end up facing Liverpool in the fourth round as both clubs have recently met twice and the gunners have come out on top in both games and this fixture did provide a classic 5-5 game last season in the same competition. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been clear in saying that the gunners will always compete in all the competitions they are in and so it won’t be a surprise if he selects a strong squad in their game against Leicester City even though the competition is still in the early stages.
