Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta held his pre-match press conference ahead of their season opening Premier League game against Fulham and he was asked about the future of Aubameyang, and he simply said that the supporters that are worried about this should be relaxed as he is very confident that the club and the Gabon international will soon reach to an agreement.
“I can say that I am even more confident than I was at the end of last season when you asked me the same question 10 times!. I am very optimistic. I think [those fans who are worried] can be pretty relaxed!” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Player.
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has always brought a lot of controversial at the North London club in the past two years with the constant freezing of him from the squad and Mikel Arteta was asked to give an update on the future of the German international.
“There aren’t any updates. All of the players that we have here are available here and they have a contract with Arsenal.” said Arteta on Ozil.
“They have all been training and putting in maximum effort in every training session and this is what I expect from all of them.”
