Hector Bellerin has been linked with an exit from Arsenal in this summer transfer window and Paris Saint Germain had been reported to be the most interested in the right back since they wanted to strengthen their defence after their UEFA Champions League final defeat. A new report has now revealed that this transfer saga has taken a new twist.

Hector Bellerin has been at Arsenal for seven years now and it was has been widely reported that he is open to a move away from the North London club since he would like a new scenery and Paris Saint Germain seemed to show interest but the gunners were very reluctant to sell him as he is an important player of Mikel Arteta.

It was believed that Arsenal was waiting for a bid from Paris Saint Germain for Hector Bellerin and its now been revealed by The Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano that the French Champions wanted to offer the gunners an offer that would allow them to take the Spanish right back on loan but that the gunners have immediately turned it down. The journalist also confirms that Paris Saint Germain have now also decided to abandon their pursuit of Bellerin after Arsenal rejected the loan offer and that they will now instead sign AS Roma fullback Alessandro Florenzi on a loan deal with an option to buy.

This comes as a twist in the Hector Bellerin transfer saga since it was believed that Arsenal would be selling him to Paris Saint Germain this summer to fund the transfer of their midfield targets but it now looks like the 25 year old will be staying at the Emirates Stadium for next season.
